Join our public beta

We’re on a mission to help people understand their card debt and pay it off faster.

As a beta tester, you’ll get early access to our latest features before anyone else, while helping shape the future of Updraft. If you’d like to help put an end to unnecessary card interest, we’d love to have you on board.

Have a look before you sign up

No account, no password, nothing handed over up front. Download the app and explore.

When you want the full picture, link a card or your bank and your real numbers fill in. Checking your own details won't affect your credit score.

See what you could save

Put in your balance and your rate, and see your card as it stands now next to one Updraft payment. How many months you could cut, and how much interest you could keep rather than pay the card.

They're your numbers, not a sales pitch, so if your card's already the cheaper option, we'll say so.

Your card won't show you this

Link your cards and your credit report and see what you've really borrowed all in one place. Break it down by segmant, credit cards, loans and see what you've borrowed from each provider.

No more guessing, no more writing it down, pop open the app and get a fuller picture.

Your free credit report

Your credit score shapes what you can borrow and what it costs you, so keeping an eye on it is a real part of getting on top of your cards. Most apps charge to show it, or sign you up to a subscription you forget to cancel.

We give you yours free, because watching your score climb is part of the journey, not an upsell. Create your account and it's right there, no catch, nothing to cancel.

We have a whole lot more coming

This is just the tip of the iceberg of how we're going to help our customers get control of their card debt. Join the public beta today and get all the latest features before they're publicly released and help shape the experience to what you want it to be.

Frequently Asked Questions

Thinking about a loan to pay off credit card debt? These quick answers explain how Updraft’s debt consolidation loans work and what to expect before you apply.

Updraft helps people pay off credit card debt. It is not a credit card, and it is more than a single loan. Updraft brings together open banking and credit data to show you what your cards are really costing you, then helps you bring your balances into one payment and pay them off faster. More than a million people have used Updraft to pay off over £750 million of credit card and overdraft debt.

No. Checking your own credit report and score through Updraft is a soft search, which does not affect your credit score and cannot be seen by lenders. You can look at where you stand as often as you like. If you later choose to apply for a loan, that can involve a different kind of check, and Updraft will always make that clear before you go ahead.

It depends on your balances, your interest rates and how long you have been paying them off. Updraft's calculators let you put in your own numbers and see how many months you could take off and how much interest you could keep, compared with carrying on as you are. The figures are yours, not a sales pitch, so if your current cards already work out cheaper, Updraft will tell you that too.

Yes. Updraft is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, operating under Fairscore Ltd. It uses open banking, the same regulated technology your bank uses to share data securely and only with your permission, alongside bank-level security. You stay in control of what you connect, and you can disconnect it whenever you want.

Updraft is free to download and free to look around, with no account needed to start. When you create an account you also get your credit report and score for free, with nothing to cancel. If you take out an Updraft loan to pay off your cards, that carries interest like any loan, and the rate you are offered depends on your circumstances.

By proceeding with checking eligibility, you are agreeing to receive documentation (including any loan documentation) digitally through the Updraft app and to your email address.

You also acknowledge, should you accept a loan offer, you will only be able to manage this via the Updraft app.
