Amelia Cody is Search & AI Content Executive at Updraft, working to help people find clear, accurate answers about their finances.

Amelia brings a research background in linguistics and AI, having studied at Cardiff University for a BA in Linguistics and an MA in Forensic Linguistics. Her postgraduate work includes prize-winning research and a thesis that tested how transformer-based AI models read and interpret text.

Across her studies, Amelia has focused on how people and machines understand language, with a particular focus on computational linguistics. At Updraft, Amelia works closely with our FCA-registered colleagues, contributing expertise in search and AI data analysis.

Amelia shares Updraft’s belief that money content should be built on real data and be open about where each fact comes from.
